Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) is the official methodology to provide benchmark-quality ratings relative to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) models. SCAMPI methodology is used to evaluate the quality and consistency of the SEI’s process implemented in an organization and also encourages its effective use.
SCAMPI assessments are done to generate a report card on the Process Improvement Efforts carried out by an organization.
