SEI Official Intro to CMMI® Training for CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) is a three-day course which is imparted by our Highly Qualified Instructors. This course introduces CMMI® Fundamental Concepts to system and software engineering managers and practitioners, appraisal team members, and Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) & Engineering Process Group (EPG) members.
CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) model is a renowned framework – a collection best Practices that help organizations improve their ability to perform better and develop & maintain quality products and services. CMMI-DEV models are an integration of best practices from different proven discipline-specific process improvement models, including the CMM for Software, EIA 731, and the Integrated Product Development CMM.
Latest version of CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) model is version 1.2. This course covers version 1.2 of CMMI of Development and is an improved version from CMMI for Software Engineering Version 1.1, to respond to change requests submitted by students, instructors, and others from across the globe. Participants learn latest CMMI Model’s Practices from CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) Version 1.2.
The complete course is designed in such a way that Participants interaction is an important aspect of the course, providing ample opportunity for participant questions and discussions. Course is composed of lectures and class exercises.
After attending the course, participants will be able to describe the components of CMMI-DEV models and their relationships, discuss the process areas in CMMI-DEV models, and locate relevant information in the model.
